  • Hispanic Heritage Month

    As part of our commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive school community that allows all students, staff, and families to feel welcome and supported, Yakima School District is participating in Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

     

    Throughout the month, our schools and students will be celebrating by sharing favorite traditions of their Hispanic heritage.

  • Seeking Community Members For Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC)

    This committee will have two expected outcomes for the 2022-23 school year.

    1. Identify top-priority YSD school facility problems to be solved in Phase 1 of a multi-phase, long-range facilities improvement plan
    2. Recommend a Phase 1 bond package to the YSD Board of Directors by June 2023
